10-4 I don’t want to explore your Prime Burning Anus… Chief…
Thanks pal
This is one of the best experiences I have ever had in a committee. I highly recommend joining, if ever extended an invite. A+++
This committee was crafted many moons ago when a younger version of you were jumping corvettes still.
There is a serious enterprise consisting of walking trails, satellite imagery, you tube scouring, face page lookings, and secret backroom at Campisis conversations to even start to vet a location.
At this point there are only 2 pros that define excellence in this process. Yours is simply to arrive and enjoy the fruits of labor.
Scouting party has hence been defined, agreed upon and closed. This is the way.
I am not interested in joining your your committee, but thanks.
I am excited to hear of your trip to Garland today so we ensure a successful crawl on Sunday. I know y’all wouldn’t let the group down by not going ahead of time.
Please keep us informed of your dangerous and heroic fact finding mission.
Good luck on your burning anus…
Jstar
Again it’s a closed committee. While we both clearly appreciate your interested in joining lets set some clear rules:
You or any other club member is available to escalate a location, site, or potential to this committee. You are however not allowed to vet, decide, or recommend any location as anything other than “potential” unless decided by this committee.
Once the committee has made a decision, you are allowed to refer to the approved site as a “crawl” site.
There is over 90 years of experience in the committee, and we take these actions very serious.
I appreciate your candor and compliance in adherence to these rules.
@FordTruckRC I can see that you truly want me to join your committee with my vast experience for reviewing requirements and assessing complexity and effort. Unfortunately, I will have to respectfully decline as I have no interest in being part of the “committee”. I have confidence that you and @AzuaDCrawler are up to the task. If you need my guidance, please let me know.

@JStar reached out again. Questioning the tenacity and capability of the ECT (exploratory committee team). He was dismissive and belittling in the speed at which the ECT acts and was able to bring a Sunday of crawtasticness at a new location with such short notice. Undergirding the whole conversation was a plea to be an ECT padawan.
Its hard to spell out the journyman process and the miles of trails that need to be walked to get this skillset perfected. Trails, lines, rock textures all have to be considered.
Again, we apologize @JStar this is a closed committee and it may be possible to join in the future, however unlikely in the next 18 months. Except @molinajeff who might be in process. We will consider applicants, with good attitudes, and positivity in due time.
Please remain steadfast and we do appreciate your continued interest.
@molinajeff Showed all of the qualities that are prized in an ECT member, this past Sunday. He stated his love for the rocks, his rig and finding DRY paths. He stayed on the rocks until he had low voltage shutoff, then to the detriment of the longevity of his equipment forged a path all the way back home without carrying anything out. Drove in, drive out. If @JStar wanted to join the committee so badly, why does he choose to sit out all the crawling days that we are informally auditioning? I thought it was because this wasn’t a priority for him. And for @molinajeff, it’s unfortunate that the only two dry locations we have gone to so far are Murrell Park and Katie’s Woods. The others have all been Creek based, water to the hood line at a min.
@FordTruckRC and @AzuaDCrawler You are totally right I am so upset I am not being included in committee, but I also think you are making the right decision. I think it makes no sense to have two members in C-Town North. It makes more sense for @FordTruckRC to cover C-Town North @molinajeff to cover C-Town South and @AzuaDCrawler can cover D-Town. This is for the best. Thanks for forming the best committee. I will no longer bother you to join. I will stick to doing the admin work.
Thanks,
@JStar
Interesting part in your writing is no mention of getting that Chevy back on the rocks. You went straight from concession speech to computer work on Crawlarr. This will be stored in the Starnes file Lee curates.
@AzuaDCrawler I have a package from AMain on the way to get the Chevy rocking. Don’t you worry.
@JStar Your precis of the job at hand is extremely reductive. This seemingly simple task involves hard physical work on trails all the way up to satellites in space. There was a small window of light into this committee for you but your consistent misunderstanding and misconstruing of the committees charter leads me to think site admin might be the best role for you.
These remarks will be cataloged, the committee is not regional or divided, we will see if you have the stones to take on rocks in a bowtie. The rocks with which we provide.
Funny that the most popular thread on this forum is not about Crawlers or Crawling. Maybe we should rethink our priorities… Just a thought
Did you get an anal flair up? Sorry bud.
Please keep this thread above board @JStar. The ECT both gives and demands respect. Any posts questioning the loyalty and dedication of the team or the service we provide, will have repercussions.
My Chevy still works
