I’d like to recognize Jon for great contributions to our groups RC hobby.
This month he rolled out a very stable message board that performs very well. I know it is hard to get something together than runs this well, and this is a pro level quality setup.
This month alone he is going to field 3 evolutions of his crawling rig. That is quick turn around, and shows a drive for excellence.
This kudos was not taken lightly, we all know there are a plethora of reasons to not have Jon included in the same sentence a Kudos superlative is used, so I just wanted to list a couple of the recent:
Snooty and snide remarks in this board, the same message board he setup and I am extending Kudos for (two examples in one thread alone, this is still an open wound emotionally for me as it was hard to put these feelings aside before writing this. But at the same time this shows my ability to put aside personal difference and emotional trauma to recognize a job well done. I am a role model)
Complete and total disregard for the Corinth Small Scale backyard Race Track. (Sabotage comes to mind, disguised as a natural drainage disaster)
Anyway, Jon, thank you for setting up this message board. It really is performing very well, it’s fun, full featured and easy to use. I know you put a lot of time into it, and I wanted to say thank you for that.

I will say that your true humility is a beacon of light that should be the groups guiding principal.
In the same vain, have totally overlooked the comparison to the one who smokes meats with sweet baby rays, it is a vial thing. I hope that we can grow this community together and complete the next challenge… The 6 Rock Challenge and may it not fall so quickly to the uninitiated and unmodded.

I ask you this: why recognize my brilliance only to back hand another group member at the same time? Do you have no sense for community? Did all of us having a good time anger you? Did Jeff’s beautiful Bronco and strong first showing intimidate you?
The courageous don’t let others get attacked, for that reason I jump to action.
PS - I got carried away with you brutally throwing @molinajeff under the bus and never commented on the Zuck reference. We will have to call in a witness, @FordTruckRC . That reference was justly used to signify your silicone valley elitist view of being able to sensor comments in our public forum, only because you didn’t like them. Hence, the comparison. If i’d seen him sing about his love for racing manual transmission cars and smoking meat he hunted, acceptance for people that like sweat bbq no matter how vile the thought may be, I would have thought of a different “comparison” to highlight your action.
To be clear my reference to Sweet Baby Ray’s was a dig on the vile one, who ruins his BBQ ribs with cheap store bought BBQ sauce, not our beautiful new members who have Badges that some of our most senior members have not earned yet.
I would also like to say that this forum is a free speech zone. It truly cuts deep that you would say I have suppressed or censored your speech. I have not, and never will. We may have our differences but I will never remove your right to speak your mind…

@Oline I am happy to help with that. I did some research and it seems that you can load small videos but the platform doesn’t support larger files rather would prefer you use a link to load them into a post. I am going to see if I can stand something up to make it easier.

The forum, Plex, crawler, home purchase and friendship were all just so we could have a local crawl course. Not sure if you are a smart bastard for seeing through our ruse or if you do plan to make us whole in the end. Either way, happy to share my exhaust fumes and tire marks from the bottom to the top of all obstacles until then. See you in the rear view!
